Happy 50th Anniversary!!!

This weekend, Matt & I headed home to celebrate his parent's 50th Anniversary.  We planned a surprise dinner for them, and boy were they surprised.  Matt's mom was speechless, and on the way home she talked nonstop about how excited she was.  It was sooo sweet.

Matt & I are very fortunate to come from homes that our parents have been married for many years. Life hasn't always been a bed of roses; however, there is something about the security of our families that mean so much to each of us.  In fact, both our parents still live in the homes we grew up in.  Home is very special to both of us, and we are so blessed to have grown up only 10 minutes apart. Sometimes we think of moving back; however, we adore Knoxville and are really enjoying our lives in K-town.

We had a GREAT weekend, and really enjoyed relaxing with both families.  Today was back to work, and boy is this week going to be high pace.  I think all I did all day was answer phone calls and emails. Ha!! However, to kickoff my week, I did spend some much needed time in the Word this morning, and to be honest it truly does make the day go by so much better.
