Six Favorites for Saturday

Source
I cannot believe that November is here!!!  And, its crazy to think about all that is in store for the next few weeks - Thanksgiving, Christmas, my birthday, the arrival of my niece, and so many other fun things.  Its all awesome stuff, but its a lot.

I haven't done this type of post in a while, but thought I would share 5 of my favorite things from the past few weeks.  Hope you enjoy!

1. New Skin Care Routine
A few months ago, I saw an Instagram Story by Rachel Parcell about a product she was trying called Ole Henriksen.  I did a little research, and decided to try it out.  The skin care line I had been using for the 10 years was being discontinued, and I decided to give Ole Henriksen a try.   And, two months later I love it. It you have sensitive skin, I would recommend it.

2. Dance Stand Run
There has been so much buzz around this book, and I decided to pick up a copy.  I am only a couple of chapters in, but I love it!!!

3. New Music
One of my favorite things about fall is all the new music.  And, for someone who still buys CDS (and I have Spotify premium too) I have been in heaven lately.  One album, that came out yesterday, that is a MUST get is Kelsea Ballererini's new album.  Kelsea is a Knoxville gal, and I worked briefly with her mom about 10 years ago.  Watching Kelsea and Carla walk in faith year after year has been incredible, and that is why her album is a must get to my collection.

4. Power Sheets
Guess what came in the mail this week - 2018 Power Sheets by Lara Casey and Cultivate What Matters.  Next year, will be my second year using Power Sheets, which is a goal setter and planner's dream come true.  If you want to learn more about Power Sheets, click HERE.

5.  Jen Wilkin Study
Have you ever started a Bible Study, and it just didn't seem to fit the season you were in.  Well, that happened to me earlier this fall, and I was desperate to find a new study.   After talking to a few friends and looking for recommendations, I stumbled upon Jen Wilkin.  Oh My Goodness, she can teach the Word.  I started this Bible Study last weekend, and its incredible.  I truly love digging into the Bible and learning the scriptures.  Not just studying the Bible to see how it can help me, but to learn what it can teach me more about God.  I needed this study at this time in my life, and so thankful the Lord heard my prayer.

6.Hello Lipsense
I have heard of Lipsense for a couple of years, but it seems like more and more people around me are using it.  So, after battling my lip stick NEVER staying on my lips, and friends encouraging me to wear lip stick, I gave in and picked up a couple of colors on Friday.  Stay tuned for a reviews if it works.

Hope you enjoyed this little update on some of my favorite things.

Enjoy your weekend!

What I Am Loving Wednesday...........

Its been ages since I've done a "What I'm Loving" post, but I've been really wanted to share a new haircare line that I have been loving lately.

Goodbye Aveda, Hello Oribe

I have been an Aveda girl for nearly 20 years; however, over the past few months I really haven't been happy with the shape of my hair.  So, after a few weeks of reading reviews on numerous haircare products I have found a new haircare line I simply love. When I went and had my hair done a few weeks ago, I asked the stylists if she would recommend some products, and I haven't been disappointed yet.

Here are a few products I'm loving:

Oribe - Signature Shampoo
Smells amazing and overall a great shampoo

Oribe - Gold Lust Conditioner
Oh my!  This leaves my hair so soft, yet not heavy.

Oribe - Royal Blowout
By far my favorite product.  It has cut my drying time down to less than 5 minutes.
Which is unheard of for me.

 Oribe - Styling Cream
This styling product holds my curls and is does not weigh my hair down.
 Oribe - Beach Waves Spray
I am actually on the fence with this one.  I like how if calms flyways on top of my head; however, its a little too much hold for the ends of my hair.  If I use on my ends, it really weighs the hair down.

If you are looking for a new haircare line, I would definitely recommend checking this one out.
I am so glad I did.

A Fun Post.....What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Its Summertime!!!  Woohoo!!  And that means fun beauty products for the season.

 1. Love this Hair Care Line.  I use the Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave-In Conditioner, and Styling Cream.  Amazing.  And, really helps the frizz die down.  Here is a fun video about the products:

2. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! this fragrance for summer!  Smells amazing!

3. My new favorite make-up staple for summer is Smashbox's Camera Ready BB Cream.  Keeps my makeup on all day, and love the perfect finish it gives my skin before I apply make-up!

4. This one is NOT new, but its one of my ALL TIME Make-Up Loves!  I have LOVED this product for almost 2-years, and yes, I still use it everyday!

5. Love this lotion!  Keeps my tan from fading and makes my skin SUPER soft!

Don't you just LOVE summer!!  What are some of your favorite summer beauty essentials?

Fashion Overload!!!

Awards season is underway, and I am one happy gal!!!  Tonight's Golden Globes did not disappoint, and two thumbs up to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler!  Too funny.     The show was AMAZING, and the fashion was fabulous as well!! Here are some of my favorite looks:

ANNE HATHAWAY IN Chanel Haute Couture
Marvellously minimalist, Hathaway lets every bead on her simple column gown do the talking.

KATE HUDSON in Alexander McQueen
Taking the boring out of black, Kate Hudson hits a high note in this McQueen jewel of a gown.

MICHELLE DOCKERY in Alexandre Vauthier So simple yet so effective, Dockery shows she can hold her own against the Hollywood heavyweights in this triumphant choice.
