Striving to Live a Life of Adventure, Excellence, and Faith.

I Gave Away My Shoes............

Well Hello!!  I can't believe its been two (2) weeks since I have last blogged.  Life has been extremely crazy, and as I have set down to update a few times, I honestly haven't known where to start.   However, I am super eager that FALL is here, and thought this would be a great time to give a brief update to things going on lately (if I don't blog it, I won't remember!):

I have been traveling for the past three weeks, and again this week.  Almost all my trips have been for work, Tri-Cities, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Nashville, and Memphis.  In four (4) weeks, I will have stayed in 4 different hotels.  I love the travel, even for business; however, not sure if I would want this life all the time.  However, I must say that I truly love my job, and so blessed to be doing what I love to do.

I spent the last few days in Atlanta, GA at a Joyce Meyer Conference.  And, WOW! WOW! WOW!  She spoke on Christ living IN us, and making sure all areas in our lives where fit for the KING!!  I am so refreshed and revived, and I am so blessed that my husband supported and sacrificed for me to attend the conference.  I am so blessed with an incredible husband, and I pray that I am a better wife for spending a few days in the Word and studying the Lord's will for my life.

I GAVE AWAY MY SHOES - Our church is studying Audacious Living, believing God for Mighty things and living BIG acts of worship.  The Challenge our Pastor gave us tonight was to not only give money to a ministry we support who was in need for shoes; he also challenged us to give away the shoes on our feet.  What a sight to see hundreds of pairs of shoes on the Alter, giving our best right off our feet.  I am so blessed the Lord has called me to serve at NorthStar!!  God is using our church in MIGHTY ways, and I am so excited to be a part of an incredible ministry.

It's Fall Y'All!! I've decorated my front porch for FALL. (Pictures coming soon!) Matt and I are also planning on getting a pumpkin or two and carving for Halloween.  I may try to talk him into going "pumpkin" shopping next weekend, so we can put on the Porch for a few weeks before carving.  We are also excited about Halloween, and hoping we get lots of Trick-or-Treaters in our new neighborhood.

Other than that things are going well.  God is up to some MIGHTY things in my life, and I am so excited about all the incredible things that are ahead.

I hope you had a great weekend!!

Glad you are back :) What a fun time traveling, but I am sure it felt great to be home, too! How awesome about your shoes an church! Can't wait to hear how God is going to use all of that!
