The week was full of meeting lots of new people, and showing some of my co-workers my "hometown".
Rachael & I on "State Street" in Bristol, Tenn/VA
Robb lov'n his time at Bristol Motor Speedway
Mary, Rachel, Laney, and I before the Awards Ceremony and Governor's Speech
I had a great time at the Conference, and it was a nice change of pace to work in my hometown! However, I was truly ready to be back in Knoxville!
The week ahead is going to be busy, with lots of meetings and work catch-up; however, I am really looking forward to hosting the Weekend Today Show on Tuesday. I am looking forward to meeting the producers and correspondents, and I am also looking forward to working with the State Tourism Office on this project. Can't wait to tell you more about it.
Until then, have a blessed week!

Wow, how cool to be a part of the Today Show!! Kim Woods-Hash was "home" this past weekend, too!! I still think it's funny that you know her!
