Motivation Monday Week #3

Its Monday.  Back to reality.  The past several days have been incredible.  I headed home Thursday afternoon in time for a dentist appointment (everything checked out 100%) and then headed to dinner and music with mom and dad.  My Aunt and Uncle also joined us for the music part, and it was so great to see them.  Friday, I slept in, worked out, and headed to lunch with my friend Dustin.  After lunch, mom and I headed to the mall, and then I had my nails and toes done for the Easter weekend.  Friday night I ended up at "my church family's house" for a delicious meal that was filled with lots of laughter!

Saturday, I had some down time with mom and dad, then headed to Kingsport to visit with my best friend Tiffany and her family. Saturday evening I had dinner with mom, and then headed to meet up with Matt once he got in town.  Sunday morning was filled with church and time with mom, followed by Easter dinner with our entire family, and then lots of time catching up with my inlaws.

This is actually the only pic I took the entire weekend, of Matt's cousin Heather
and her magic napkin trick.

This weekend, was just perfect.  The weather was gorgeous, and I loved spending time with my closest friends.  Of course, there are so many friends I did not get to see, and hopefully, I will get to visit next time.

And, that brings us back to today...........Monday.  I am actually looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.  I have lots of "to-dos" on my plate for work, hoping to get in a few workouts in, and also planning to get "my diet" back on track.  I would like to lose 10lbs before our concert vacay coming up this summer.

That brings us to Motivational Monday.  My three goals for this week:

1. Get back into practice of my morning devotional.  This means me getting up an hour early and spending time in the Word, Praying, and Worshipping.  The Lord is doing some incredible things in my life, with lots of decisions on the horizon, and I want to be in His will and take time to hear His Voice.

2. Workout after work, 2 days this week.  I have been putting this off for weeks, and it is time to get with it.  I have my bags packed and ready to go. (And, don't you love the above saying.....it is soo true!)

3.  Cut out ALL sodas.  I have been thinking about this for a while now, but its time to make the leap.  Those things are NOT good for me, and I really need to begin getting really serious about my health.

Those are my goals for the week!  I hope you have a great week, and I know the BIG thing I am looking forward to is FRIDAY.........and, the Royal Wedding!
