What a GREAT weekend!!! This was my last weekend for the next six weeks, that I had no plans. Saturday I slept in (til noon), worked out, read, and watched a little television. Matt worked all day, and Saturday night we headed to dinner and then home to watch a movie from Netflix. Such of perfect day of NOTHING.
Sunday I headed to church, did a little shopping, worked for a few hours, worked out, made dinner, and relaxed. I was so rested for the busy week ahead, that I was shocked to wake up this morning to SNOW!! The roads were almost impossible to drive. And, even though my hubby went to work, he had a little trouble but made it safely. I was beyond thankful to learn our office was closed. I decided to go ahead and start my day early and work out, shower, and worked most of the day. Tonight I made homemade soup and we relaxed after dinner, and watching the BCS Game!! GO SEC!!!
In other news. Knoxville has a new mayor. Since our current Mayor won the Governor's Race he stepped down today and a new mayor was selected as interim until the November election.

I also wanted to tell you all about a new book I am reading. It's called Reshaping It All by Candace Cameron Bure. WOW!! I have been blown away by her honesty and how much she relies on the Lord in every area of her life. Scriptures are beautifully intertwined in the story and its very motivational not only spiritually but physcially too!!
And, my final Random thought. Awards season kicks off this Sunday, and you know what that means..........RED CARPET FASHION!!! There are two looks that I am obsessed with seeing this season.
Both are Marchesa's Spring 2011
I absolutely LOVE watching the RED CARPET for all the fashion trends and celebrity interviews. Its like the Super Bowl in my house. I used to host or attend Fashion Red Carpet parties, but since moving to K-town, I haven't found friends who love the fashion as much as I do! However, I still just love it!!!
Have a blessed week my friends!!!
