We did it! Once again we decorated our house for Christmas by Thanksgiving! This is always a goal for me, and I make every effort beginning in late October to begin planning Christmas decorating starting a week before Thanksgiving.
Up first was the Christmas Tree. We headed to White Top Mountain the Saturday before Thanksgiving to get our tree. The drive was great because we ran into a little snow, and the weather was great as it wasn't too cold.
And, of course we took Little Bit.
The tree farm we go to is not fancy, AT ALL.
Its literally field after field of trees going at all heights.
Some trees have even been trimmed from the bottom up,
and here is my bro-in-law measuring the size of the tree.
2 Trees and 3 Wreathes - this was the least amount we have ever gotten.
It took us about 3 days to decorate because we did it in stages. Light, topper, and ornaments.
Lily and Izzy are loving the tree, and we are enjoying it too.
We also have two other trees and more decor, and I will share that soon.
