Striving to Live a Life of Adventure, Excellence, and Faith.

five on friday

Its Friday, and I am so ready for the weekend!!!  I cannot believe how fast the first week of April flew by us.  It has been a crazy and hectic week, and I am really ready for some much needed family time this weekend. Here are my top 5 for the week.

one - New Book Alert
I began following Courtney a few months ago on Instagram, and I am hooked.  Between her amazing style, her amazing dog George, and her beautiful family, she just brings so much joy to the social world (which we all need a little more of these days.)  She is releasing a new book in August, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.  Her style is amazing.

two - New Recipe to Try
Chicken Piccata Pasta Toss
Does this not look amazing!!!  I cannot wait to make this delicious dinner in the coming weeks.

three - Lets Walk
A few weeks ago I fell and injured my left leg pretty badly.  Its taken a couple of weeks to get it feeling a little better, but its still not 100%. I've decided to go old school, and start with a 5 mile walking video.  It may be cheesy, but these videos are awesome.  Its a great low impact workout to get me moving again. Wish me luck!!

four - Lara Casey's Cultivate Book
Cultivate: A Grace-Filled Guide to Growing an Intentional Life from lara casey on Vimeo.

I am really looking forward to this book. Lara's journey simple amazes me, and the grace she shows daily blows me away. I know this book will be uplifting and helpful. It will not be out until later this year, but I am really looking forward to it.

five - Power Sheets
And, speaking for Lara Casey.  Last weekend, I updated my Power Sheets for April, and I am excited for to add some new goals on the list.  Top of the list for April include reading a new book, memorizing more scripture, working on our family's budget, adding new flowers to our flower bed, and much more!!

Have a fun weekend friends!!!

Hugs!
