Its Tuesday. My week is off to a wonderful start. This week is an odd work week for me. I am taking off Wednesday to celebrate my Anniversary, Thursday I am working 1/2 day to burn by last personal day, and Friday kicks off the Holiday Weekend. I secured my Friday night plans this evening; so, things are looking good.
Being summer, and the pool calling my name this weekend, I thought it would be a good time to update my summer reading list. All throughout the year, I read books about my career, politics, christianity, etc.; however, in the summer I let myself off the hook, and read more "fun" books. This summer, my reading selections include:
I did decide on one Christian book by Joyce Meyer. Being anxious is something I really want to get a handle on, and understand if I am being led my The Spirit or by my emotions. This is something I have been dealing with more lately, and I decided to spend my summer studying this topic, and hopefully, by fall I will have a better handle on how to live a more victorious life in Christ, especially in this area of my life. Isn't it funny how this journey with the Lord, is always a journey. Learning new things every day. PTL!!

AH! I just bought The Help the other day to read - cannot wait to start it! My favorite book that I am reading this summer is Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah - SUCH a gorgeous book :D
