Striving to Live a Life of Adventure, Excellence, and Faith.

"As the war drums sound.........its our job to give voice to people who are rarely, if ever heard by the outside world."

I caught the Nightly News with Brian Williams tonight, something I haven't done in months. And, oh my, oh my, oh my. Many of you know my love and deep concern with southern Sudan, and when the country becomes a little more at peace, I hope to serve the women and young girls of this war torn land.

Check out the video:

In the interview George Clooney states, "If I said to you right now, 90 days from today, there's going to be an earthquake, that 200,000 people are going to be killed, what would you do? Well this is man made - and it can be stopped." And, with military forces building at the border of southern and northern Sudan, it is a matter of time. Its important to note, that Southern Sudan is oil rich land, which leads to very violate times ahead. Many celebrity activitsts are meeting with President Obama this week. And, I pray the United States steps up and protects the people who honestly cannot save themselves.

And, as many of you may remember me talking about Africa ELI. My dear friend Anita just left to go back to Southern Sudan in September. Please keep her in your prayers, and her entire staff at the schools throughout Southern Sudan. (However, I am still in awe she met Ann and George....WOW!! That could have been me, and will be one day.)

Psalm 31:14-16

"But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, "You are my God." My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me. Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love."
