Striving to Live a Life of Adventure, Excellence, and Faith.

Its Friday!!! Woooohoooo!

I am so thankful its Friday!  And, since I am actually writing this post in "real time" and not a scheduled post, I can honestly say that today was a GREAT day.  I did not have any meetings, did not go out for lunch, and actually worked through lunch so I could get lots of things accomplished!!  And, I did!  My office is organized and I am ready for the week ahead.

Things at work are going well, and I am really looking forward to the weekend.

Last night, I was able to attend the Travis Cottrell concert here in Knoxville.  WOW, what an incredible time to worship the Lord.  I took several pics with my phone, which would explain the foggyness of the photos.

Let Us Worship Our God!!

This precious little lady totally blessed by heart.  She was in her 80s, and her faithfulness and praise ministered to me so very much.  I pray that I live as long as she has if for only to be able to worship my God.

 Simply Amazing!

This weekend, I am heading to UT to serve on the media team for Game Day in Tennessee!  I am on the Social Media Team, and I am looking forward to working with such an amazing group of leaders. Sunday, we are headed to church and then lots of REST!!!  I am soooo excited.

Finally, what would a Friday be without a Fill in the Blanks Friday!!  I am linking up with Courtney's blog and look forward to learning lots from a new group of gals.  Here we go:

1.   If  I had to use 3 words to describe why I am undoubtedly particular they would be structured, organized, and perfectionist!

2.  Something that happened to me in life that initially seemed bad but turned out to be good was  my decision to move away from Knoxville and away from my life with my now husband.  Those five years apart taught me that patience, forgiveness, faith, laughter, love and trust are the most important things in life.

3.  Something I inherited from my mom is my love for music, patience, knowing when to keep my mouth shut, and following through and do what you say you will do.

4.  Something I inherited from my dad is  always volunteer and give-back, help someone in need, my gift for gab, and following through and do what you say you will do.

5.  My goal for this summer is   get a natural tan, loose some pounds, read some fun books, and find a new place to live.

6.  The best thing about this week is     worshiping at the Travis Cottrell concert and looking forward to spending the weekend with my hubby!

7.  Something I couldn't give up if I tried is  journaling.  I love documenting my life and the everyday events and all the God moments.  Probably would explain why I love to blog!!

Have a blessed weekend!!!
