Many of you may remember back in 2009 I participated in Beth Moore's Scripture Memory Team. I talked often how the process of memorizing 24 scriptures truly blessed me throughout the year. I was able to pray with greater power, because I was constantly praying the Word of God.
Well, guess what????
It's Back! Scripture Memory Team is back for 2011 and even better, Beth is offering customized Spirals.
I am so excited, I just can't hide it. I ordered my spiral last week, and they are only $5 with shipping. I'm hoping it arrives before the New Year. They have received over 4,000 orders! WOW....can you imagine 4,000 women memorizing the Word of God over the next year. What an incredible journey! I often said in 2009, that I could feel the prayers and anointing of being a part of the Scripture Memory Team each and every day.
I want to encourage you to take this challenge too. I promise you will receive more than you could ever imagined in the process. If you do not order the custom spirals, then do what I have done, run to Walgreens, Target, Staples, etc. and pick up a traditional pack of spiral index cards.
Then on the 1st and 15th of each month write a scripture you would like to commit to memory in the Spiral notebook. Carry the Spiral with you everywhere, and when you find time in the car, cooking dinner, on your lunch break, etc. memorize the scripture, pray the scripture, and use the scripture in daily talks with the Lord. And, by the end of the year you will know 24 new scriptures by heart.
I still recall my 2009 verses in times of prayers or when I am ministering to others.

And, lets be Women of the Lord who call our minds captive. Because we know that our battles are won or lost in our MINDS.
"We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ." (2 Cor 10:3-5 NLT)
