Happy Monday! Woohoo!!! What a great weekend for the Tennessee Vols!!! The men's basketball team won the NIT tournament, and the football team won the season's final game against KY, sending us to a Bowl Game in December.
It's Great to be a Tennessee VOL!!!!
I grew up going to Neyland Stadium and Thompson Boling Arena, and watching the Vols play. Football and basketball games were highlights of my childhood, and as a freshman at UT, my first football game as a college student was the UT vs. FL game in 1998, anyone remember that game?
We rushed the field after a missed field goal, which led to a National Championship game later that season.
This weekend after a very successful weekend, it reminds me of the passion and pride I have for my University. I graduated over eight years ago; however, I am very proud of all the achievements the school and the athletic program has gone through. In saying that it is easy to chant........"Its Great To Be A Tennessee Vol!"
In other news, its back to work today after a five (5) day break. It was great to have the time off; however, I am anxious to finish a few BIG projects by the end of the year. This week is busy with after work activities as well; however, I am really looking forward to my birthday weekend next week. I cannot believe how fast the past year has flown by. Can you??
