Its Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas..........

One thing is for sure, the Davis Family LOVES LOVES LOVES Christmas.  In fact, we actually started decorating the weekend before Thanksgiving as we headed to Whitetop, Virginia to cut down our Christmas Tree.  This is the first live tree Matt and I have had in nearly 15 years, and it was the first time that we had actually gone to the mountains to cut down our own tree.

Jamie, Kristy, Matt, and I headed up to Blevins Wreaths and Trees in Whitetop, VA.  Luckily, we were able to take their SUV and trailer, so we could haul back two Christmas trees and three wreaths from the mountain.

Once we got there, I quickly spotted our tree.  It was a little full (9ft tall AND 9ft round), but it was perfect. Next, we picked out two wreaths that were hand made on the tree farm.

 Its hard to see it, but the tree in the middle is our tree.

 We finally got it in the house and had to do a little more trimming.

 We spent Thanksgiving night decorating the tree and watching Christmas Vacation. 

(Its our tradition.)

 

And, the finish product.  It is sooo beautiful. 

 We also got the tree up in our home office, as well as the lights outside put up, and the rest of the house decorated too.

Is anyone else like me and has to have their holiday decor up by December 1st???  When do you put your decor up?
