Vacay Recap- Navarre Beach

We have been home a week since our vacation to Florida.  This vacay came at the perfect time, and we loved staying right on the beach and spending some with some awesome friends.  We headed to Navarre Beach, FL (located between Pensacola Beach and Destin) for nine (9) days of relaxation and lots of fun!  The weather was amazing, and we definitely had time to rest and unwind.

Here are a few pics from our vacay.  And, thanks to my friend Marisa who took a few of these awesome pics:
Getting to spend a week with my amazing husband was the best!!

This was our home for nine(9) days and it was perfect.
There were four (4) master bedrooms and four (4) baths so every couple got their own space.

This was the view looking from the kitchen.

We had our own walkway to the beach!  NICE!

Every morning, I would wake up, pull back the curtains, sit on my bed and see this...........

Most days we would get up around 9:00 a.m., eat some breakfast, and head to the beach.  Then we would grab lunch and spend more time at the beach.  We did get out and about and explore Florida a few times.

On Sunday, we headed to the beach church.  It was an interesting service (a little Rock-n-Roll), but the pastor was awesome and we really enjoyed the message.

After church we took a stroll on the pier.

 Lots of Fish'n Going On

Next we headed to LuLu's in Destin for a little lunch, and then to the outlets for a little shopping.

We rounded out our time in Destin, by grabbing some chocolate nachos at Cheeseburger in Paradise.
My all time favorite dessert!

On Monday, we started the morning with a little walk around the island.
Dreaming of houses to buy.  LOL!

 This space will do.

On Wednesday, we headed to Pensacola to see the Blue Angels fly.
Unfortunately, they were taking the week off. (Yes, this is the second time I've missed them. **Sigh)

Matt and I had been to this museum before, but it was nice to browse through the museum again and take a little ride on of the planes.  LOL!

That afternoon, we headed to downtown Pensacola and grabbed lunch on the water.  Here is our group selfie.  We were missing MeMe and Ron.

That night I ate more crab legs and shrimp that I ever have in my life.
Next time Matt and I will share the individual size serving.

We headed to the Harbor Walk to watch the sunset.

We finished the night with dessert.............well MeMe's dessert.  LOL!

During the week we spent a lot of time on the beach, which was almost like a private beach because no one was there.  This is Ron fishing.

And, this is the Flouder he caught.

We also caught a few sunsets. This was by far by favorite thing to do.  Just sit on the beach at night and watch the sun disappear in the ocean. Soooo relaxing.

Seriously a private beach!

Fun pic of Matt at the Ice Cream Parlor.

Marisa had an awesome idea to write all the fun things we did each day on this chalkboard banner.  We had a lot of good times written on that banner.

One of my favorites things we did was get up early (ONE MORNING ONLY) and watch the sun rise.  I had never done that before, and it was so beautiful.

I kept sing that song.........."Here comes the sun" by the Beatles.

Then I headed back to bed.  Ha!

Last group selfie.  We had an incredible time with this group, and I am so thankful for each of these sweet friendships.

A special thank you to Todd and Marisa for inviting us along on this amazing vacation.  We had a great time, and thank you for getting us all together and making this trip so special.
We love you both so very much.

And, another thank you to Ron and MeMe for being awesome vacation-mates.  You all are so fun to be around, and thanks for your sweetness and laughter that made this trip so relaxing and fun.

Be Blessed!
