Finally............

Finally, a weekend where Matt and I were both off and we did not leave town!  LOL!  Its been over a year since we stayed home, just worked around the house and enjoyed time together.

 

On Friday, we decided to take it easy, order pizza and hang some of our new art in our Living Room.  Check out the before and afters....we LOVE IT!!

Saturday we got up early, grabbed a quick breakfast, ran to Lowes, stop by and voted early, and then headed back home for an afternoon of cleaning, painting (project posts coming soon), and doing a little yard work.  We were both exhausted by the time we hit the bed on Saturday night, but loved giving our house a little TLC! 

On Sunday we slept in; however, Matt woke up with a headache.  We stayed in from church.  I made brunch, oven just chill'n.  Sunday afternoon we headed out to Hallmark to buy our first four Christmas Ornaments of the year.  I love the ornaments we added to our collection, and can't wait to share them with you soon.  Sunday night we grilled steaks for dinner, and then chilled while storms rolled in and out of Knoxville. 

Wonderful weekend, and I am so thankful for the time Matt and I had together!
