Life is busy these days. Its that time of year that work kicks into full gear, and my personal life becomes more and more nonexistent. However, even though life is extremely busy, I have found time to spend with friends and even enjoy spending some nights NOT WORKING. Woohoo!!`
Lots of changes are going on right now too. I am so blessed with such an incredible life, and I am determined to enjoy this summer and the new friends and opportunites that have come my way. Four big new things are going on this Summer:
1. Africa ELI - I have become a Volunteer Advisor to this AMAZING, WONDERFUL, SUPPORTIVE, ENCOURAGING, LOVING group of people. Check out their website: http://africaeli.org/ . I hope to write an entry soon on my time working with Africa ELI.

2. Summer 2010 Bible Study - Since moving to Knoxville a few years ago, I have never taken on a Summer Bible Study. Except this summer. Four of my good friends and I are taking on Beth Moore's Study on Daniel. I am only into week #1......and it is AMAZING!!
3. New Friendships!! Over the past few months, the Lord has truly blessed me with new friendships that keep growing and growing. I am so blessed that the Lord has opened these doors to new friends and look forward to all the memories ahead. In fact, one of my good friends and I had dinner this week, and we literally closed the restaurant down. We were there over 4 hours.......Ha!! Its was great conversation, and I am so blessed with her friendship. We litterally laughed all week.
Carrabba's = Great Food, Great Conversation, and Great Friendships!!
My dear friend Marisa (sorry Marisa, I took this pic from your FB....Ha!) whom I spent time at Carrabba's with. She also has a heart for Africa and the children.
4. Women's Ministry - I was asked this week to begin helping in the Women's Ministry at Church. I am so excited about serving the Lord in this compacity, and looking forward to all the great adventures that are coming this fall.
Finally, today is my hubby's B-Day!!! We had a great time celebrating His Day!!! We have spent a lot of Birthdays together, and each year I am just reminded all the great times we have spent together. This is my 14th year, I have got to celebrate his B-Day, and I am such a lucky gal!!
Yes, the "M" is missing - its a looooong story!

Kim - I can actually "hear" your enthusiasm through my computer screen! Thank you for the Africa ELI shout out. I can only imagine the photos you will post by this time next year...it's likely to be YOU pictured in the middle of those smiling little faces! Love ya!
