Striving to Live a Life of Adventure, Excellence, and Faith.

It's April.........

Whew......I can't believe its already April 7th, and its the first time I've blogged this month. Life has been really busy over the past few weeks; however, I am hoping the next few days will offer a little rest in my life. Here is a little update on the craziness I call Easter Weekend:

Wednesday night, after bootcamp, I headed to Walmart for my one trip per year. (I just don't like that place at all, but they were only place that had Reese Eggs in White Chocolate for Matt's Easter Basket.) ANYWAYS, as I was leaving, I ran into Sherry from the biggest loser.......and I chatted with her for a few moments. I'm so proud of her, and the way she is representing Knoxville.

Thursday, my friend Tiffany came to Knoxville and we headed to the Cotton Eye Joe to watch the Danny Gokey concert. He was my favorite contestant on American Idol last year, and he CAN SING. WOW! Great concert, glad she talked me into going.

Friday, I headed home and we had an IYM Adult Staff reunion dinner. I love these people so very much, and sometimes its nice you know you have a place where you belong. ;-) (oh....I forgot my camera, so this pic was taken a few years ago, but this was the same group that was at dinner on Friday.)

Saturday, mom and I shopped all day, and when Matt got in town we headed to Henry's house to visit with him and Kristy. We had a great time catching up, and we began making our plans for the summer.

Sunday was Easter and we hosted a family Easter Egg Hunt, and Heather and Jim won the hunt. Easter was a great blessing, and we had a great time with our family.

Today, I headed back to work and tonight its off to my last week of bootcamp. (I am secretly glad.) Its a great workout, but being busy 5 nights of 7 each week........is getting really old. I need rest.

Have a great week!

Love Ya,

Girl, you have been busy!! I love Danny Gokey! He is from Milwaukee, so when I know he is in town, I always look for him!
