I found a box under our guest bedroom bed this weekend, and it was full of music from my college days. Did I mention the box was full of CDs and Tapes....Ha!! Yes, I said cassette tapes. We did still have those in 1999.
What a memory lane I have gone down over the last few days. Some of the classics Dido, Lisa Lobe, Frank Sinatra, Alison Krauss, Chris Botti, etc. It seemed I was more mellow in those days. Lots of autistic and lots of jazz. Here is one of my favorites........
I also spent lots of time this weekend planning summer festivities with my husband. We like to always have fun and exciting things going on, and thus far our summer is going to consistent of Memorial Day Summer Kick Off Party, Miss Tennessee pageant (to cheer on my dear friend Ashton Doane), Yankees Baseball Game, Beach Trip. 2nd Year Anniversary Celebration, Atlanta Shopping Weekend at Ikea & West Elm, Fourth of July Party, trip to Charlotte to see good friends, Chris Botti concert, and that takes us to the middle of July. After that its all business and lots of work..........unless my hubby and BIL can get us Jimmy tickets. Which would be amazing!!
Finally got a plant for the outside patio table, and I am hoping by the end of the week I can get the patio decorating finished and the walls in our hallway painted. Thats my goal.
Last night, we spent some much needed time with my church family...ie the Montgomerys. A yummy dinner, lots of desserts, and good conversation made for a wonderful night. (See above picture.)
I'm ready to face the week, and hoping the weather warms up soon.
