Labor Day weekend is off to a GREAT start. We headed to the UT Game last night, and had a great time. My husband and bro-in-law headed to their seats, and I was able to sit with some of my good friends from home.
One of my favorite traditions this year is the pregame prayer of the Team. After the famous "Vol Walk", players and staff head to the center of the football field to be led in prayer by Vol s Chaplin, Roger Woods. This tradition says a lot about the coaching staff and players. (Pics by KnoxNews)
Football Time in Tennessee began, and of course, who could kick off without Peyton!
It was a great kick-off to the 2010 Season. Hoping for a good start to the Dooley Era, and hoping for a successful season.
Now time for BOOMSDAY! Looking forward to my first official event with Knoxville Tourism and Sports Corporation. Details coming tomorrow........until then, enjoy your Labor Day Sunday!!!
