I cannot express how much I love the Word of God. I get so excited each day as I dig in and expect the Lord to reveal more of Him to me. The idea that Christ came to this earth for people like you and me, to save us by His grace, free us with His grace, and for us to Love Him through His grace, is sometimes more than I can comprehend. My prayer for you my friends, family, and blog buddies is that you will fall head of heals in love with our Savior Jesus Christ, and live FREE from the JUNK that burdens your heart, your dreams, and most of all your peace of mind.
Today, I embarked on my 38th day of studying the Book of Esther, and I am still in awe that God's name is never mentioned in the book, but His hand can be found all the way through it. The study is getting very technical and the linguistics of the study are becoming fascinating to me......Chiastic Structure ring a bell for anyone? Yet, in today's lesson the author challenged me to "AUTHENTIC." This hit me deep in my heart. Why is it that many of us have a hard time expressing who we are, our hopes and aspirations, or even expressing how we truly feel about a situation. We even believe that our thoughts are not valid enough for a true public opinion, and we hide our input. I am challenging myself this week not to paraphrase or quote as I write my blog. What you will get is me, Kim Davis's take on what God is doing in my life!
