Thursday Morning my flight was delayed because of snow in the desert......Las Vegas. The inclement weather pushed my flight back 10 hours, which meant getting home around midnight. The Lord had really taken the situation and worked out every detail without me having to do anything but show up. When I finally got on the plan in Vegas heading to Atlanta, a young 20-something dude sat down beside me. He looked edgy and friendly, and I was hoping he would be a more entertaining than the last guy who sat next to me on the way to Vegas who kept falling asleep and then falling over on me in his sleep. Ha!
Our flight was delayed a little after leaving the gate and we began the small talk...."Where are you from?, Where are you going?, Are you ready for the Holidays?" Yet, sometime in the conversation I realized something was different about this dude. He had something that I just don't see in many people anymore.........he had the presence of the Holy Spirit. He saw deeper than physical in people, he saw the soul's of people. He quickly opened up about a ministry he is involved in Las Vegas. I love learning about new ministries and how God is moving in people's lives, and I knew this conversation was going to be worth the delay.
I learned a lot in two hours about this ministry, and it is incredible what God has lead some very courageous young men and women to do in the City known as Sin City. So what is this ministry you ask...........I'll let the websites do all the talking.....
